Helping on an Eagle project

One of the nice parts about Richland is the miles of parks that run along the Columbia river. Yesterday we helped at an eagle project at the park. It was pretty straight forward, we painted poles that ran along the edge of a road at a local park. They had 20 or so people there, so things went quick. You do one poll and then go down 20 more to get to the next one available.

I took my camera as well and had some fun in the park.

I find that small things have a beauty and complexity that we miss most of the time.

I was walking out to take a picture of this goose sitting on the river when a boat came near the bird and startled it into flight. Thus making a much more interesting picture.
