Daddy and Emmy at the Zoo

Here is another fun one from vacation. Laura went to see one of her good friends while we were down in California. So Emmy and Dad had a daddy daughter day. So we headed off to the zoo.

I had fun taking her around. We went to the petting area and let her pet the sheep and goats. Saw the Rays in the salt water display. And we even got to stop at the gift store on our way out.

Often times she liked the plants and leaves along the way better than the animals.

Sometimes we would walk. Sometimes we would drive. I asked her what she wanted to see, and let her point at the map. That was enough to get us started through the zoo.

I think the Tiger information was more fun for her than the real tiger.

She did like the Warthogs.

And the Flamingos were lots of fun to. Lots of color to see nice and close.

They have a statue of a baby elephant who had been born at the zoo several years ago.
